6th Annual Running of the Trolls
The Astoria Scandinavian MidSummer Festival is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Running of the Trolls run/walk! We invite you to join us for a walk or run in the beautiful Olney countryside. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Scandinavian MidSummer Festival Association Scholarship Fund.

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2009
Time: Race starts at 8:30am from Fairgrounds parking lot
Entry Fee: $20.00 Fee includes the following:
- Official Troll Run T-shirt,
- entry button to Festival
- bottle of water and parking pass (Sat. only)
or $15.00 Fee does NOT include T-shirt
Race day check in: 7:00am - 8:00am at Clatsop County Fairgrounds Building Entrance. T-shirts & Festival buttons distributed at this time.
T-shirts are only guaranteed if you register by June 10, 2009.
Bib numbers: Will be available at check in.
Awards: Overall Top male, female and youth finisher/runner in 5.75 mile course.
Distance choice: 1.5 mile run/walk, 3.0 mile run/walk, 5.75 mile run
Parking: Parking is available at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds. Please let them know you are participating in the Troll Run.

Late registration will be at the festival Information booth, June 19, 2009 and on race day during check in from 7-8am on Sat. June 20.
The Course
Leave Clatsop County Fairgrounds parking lot, follow Walluski Loop Road to Labiske Lane turn off, turn around and follow same route back to fairgrounds. Mostly flat terrain with one gradual hill, scenic, country road, may have possible troll sightings.
