KVEVLAXGILLE R.F.
Kvevlaxgille was founded in 1972 and is a registered association. They play both traditional and modern folk music like the waltz, Finnish tango, shottis and hambo. According to the audience’s preferences they can focus on more traditional music or vice versa. They have performed in Sweden and Norway. Kvevlaxgille has made 3 recordings.
The number of members has varied over the years due to the fact that Kvevlaxgille works as an association. At the moment they are 11 members, and the following will be at the Astoria Scandinavian Midsummer Festival.

Mr. Gustav Ronnqvist; started in Kvevlaxgille in 1989. He also is a member of the local choir.
Hr. Hakan Sundvik; member of Kvevlaxgille since 1997, is also a member of the local choir. |

Mr. Stefan Sandqvist; member of Kvevlaxgille since 1982. He is also a member of
another group, where he plays keyboard. On occasions he also plays for a folk dance group.
Mr. Per-Erik Backland; started in Kvevlaxgille in 1975. |

Mr. Daniel Wasberg; is not a current member of Kvevlaxgille, but is joining them on this occasion.
He is the son of Karl-Erik, and is a member of another band, where he also plays the keyboard and the bass. |
